Suffolk Latch Company
Home hardware business craft magnificent results from their brand-new Pinterest campaign
Suffolk Latch Company specialise in supplying traditional hand-forged ironmongery and architectural hardware through their website.
Over the last few years, they’ve been partnered with Add People across a number of digital services, including SEO, Ecommerce and Social Media.
Continuing their exploration of new marketing channels, they were keen to try running ad campaigns on Pinterest.
Pinterest is a fantastic platform for businesses to showcase their products – particularly those that have highly-visual products – making this a great fit for Suffolk Latch Company.
Let’s take a look at how our Social Media team took on this challenge…
The challenge
The main challenge, here, was that Suffolk Latch Company were having to start on Pinterest for the first time, meaning that they had ZERO presence or awareness of their brand on the platform.
Therefore, it would be important to grow their presence quickly, to try and get their brand out there and seen by their target audience on Pinterest.
Pinterest tends to have a longer learning period than other social platforms (a bit like SEO), so it was vital to have patience and maintain an understanding that results would appear later down the line.
Our strategy
Our Social Media experts began their approach by searching for trending keywords within their industry.
This would enable them to discover what their potential customers were looking for on the platform.
Furthermore, interests related to their brands and industry were also researched, helping to build up a better picture of their target audience.
Because Suffolk Latch Company were completely new to Pinterest, the team focused on ‘colder’ audiences, in order to grow their brand awareness.
Due to them having an in-house videographer, Suffolk Latch Company were already blessed with very creative content that only needed a few minor branding adjustments.
The results
Within the first month of their Pinterest campaign going live, results hit a really high level – which was fantastic to see for a completely new platform and campaign.
With a daily spend of just £20, Suffolk Latch Company saw a total of 28 sales, worth £2,938.65 – resulting in a Return On Ad Spend (ROAS) of 1,024%.
These results have continued to grow over the last few months, most recently with a record-breaking ROAS of 3,188%!
– Return On Ad Spend (ROAS) increased by 393%.
– 77% reduction in cost-per-acquisition (CPA).
– 4.7% Overall conversion rate.
