Based in Spring Church, Pennsylvania, Swinging Cafe Doors are a home decor retailer that specialises in selling high-quality saloon-style doors, through their eCommerce website.

After seeing success with our eCommerce Team, they decided to expand their marketing strategy, and began a 6-week trial on our Social Media services – which turned out to be an excellent move…

The challenge

After an initial consultation with our social media experts, it was decided that the best strategy to adopt for Swinging Cafe Doors, would be to set up new Facebook Advertising campaigns.

The challenge with any new campaign is that, from launch, the campaign will enter a learning period, where it may seem like the ads are not actually performing – however, Facebook uses this period to learn about the audience and find out what resonates best with Swinging Cafe Doors potential customers.

Once Facebook has this information, the campaigns start to perform more effectively, ensuring ad budget is being used to target the correct people, who would be interested in Swinging Cafe Door’s products.

Our strategy

Our social media experts set up 2 new campaigns, which focussed on targeting people at different stages of the purchase journey.

An ‘interest’ campaign was created to increase brand awareness and target those people who may not have heard of Swinging Cafe Doors before – capitalising on Facebook’s vast amount of active users.

Furthermore, a ‘conversions’ campaign was set up to focus on those people who were more likely to be in a position to make a purchase – this was done by displaying ads to Facebook users who had either visited the Swinging Cafe Doors website or interacted with their Facebook content – this is known as remarketing.

Once these campaigns got through the initial learning period, there was no stopping them!

The results

The results of the 6-week trial speak for themselves…

– 473,000 people reached through Facebook ads

– 13,625 link clicks from Facebook ads

– 71 sales at a purchase value of $58,972

– 1,651% return on ad spend

Following this success, Swinging Cafe Doors decided to carry on their partnership with our Social Media team on a longer-term basis.
