Add People in the top 2% with prestigious award
Altrincham-based digital marketing specialists Add People have been recognised with a platinum ‘We invest in people’ accreditation by Investors in People for their culture-first commitment to an innovative and deeply-woven approach to people management which enables each and every member of the team the opportunity to flourish.
Platinum is the highest accreditation available and only 2% of organisations achieve this level of recognition. Investors in People is the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results and enabling organisations to benchmark against the best in the business on an international scale.
The three-year accreditation follows an in-depth assessment carried out by Investors in People through one-to-one interviews, focus groups, observations of key meetings and people surveys. The prestigious recognition is particularly noteworthy having been achieved post-COVID-19.
In its report, Investors in People applauded Add People’s commitment to demonstrating strong values and behaviours and empowering and involving people. Areas highlighted in the accreditation assessment include: Add People’s approach to learning and development; its benefits package; its wellbeing strategy; the external coaching provided to support internal growth through extensive management training and “rising stars” programmes; and more.
Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, says: “We’d like to congratulate Add People. Platinum accreditation on ‘We Invest in People’ is a remarkable effort for any organisation, and places them in fine company with other top-performing businesses that truly understand the value of their people.”
Add People’s Marketing Director, Peter Marshall, says: “We’re absolutely delighted that we’ve achieved platinum accreditation from Investors in People. It’s taken a huge commitment, but our people are at the heart of our company values: from growing our expertise, to proactive learning, knowledge sharing, collaboration and the confidence to be who you are. And this accreditation is testimony to the collective efforts made across the business to ensure it is a place where all our people can flourish.”
The firm’s Head of People, Kerry Matthewman, adds: “We’re incredibly proud to have been awarded a platinum accreditation by Investors in People in recognition of our efforts to ensure Add People has an open and inclusive culture, where our people are cared for, encouraged to grow, develop and feel able to be themselves at work.
“This achievement is all the more impressive because of the global pandemic. The business and every one of our people faced unique challenges during the past 18-months, and it’s massively important that our one-of-a-kind culture has endured, and even strengthened, through these difficult times.”
